Glen & Erin
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to explore our profile. We have built a life full of love and happiness, and we would love to share it. We believe that adoption is a cherished gift that we will hold dear forever. We hope that you find our spirit and energy to be a good fit for the future of your child.
What it Means to Become Parents

We are incredibly excited to watch our child learn and grow. The wonder a child experiences is the most beautiful thing in the world, and we cannot wait to support them in achieving their dreams. We firmly believe that with love, creativity, education, and encouragement, children can accomplish anything they set their minds to—and we are excited to share in their journey.
We understand that true happiness is about pursuing one's passions. We have no preconceived notions about what our child's interests will be. We want to be involved in whatever path they choose. They will have all the support and resources necessary to become whoever they aspire to be. We aim to show them a variety of options, share what excites us, and discover what excites them. We will be their safety net, allowing them to feel confident as they explore, discover, and take risks, knowing they have our love and support.
Our Pup, Ms. Bugsly

Erin has always had a natural affinity for cats, growing up as a cat person. However, it wasn’t until we adopted Ms. Bugsley that she discovered the existence of cat-dogs. Ms. Bugsley is a small, 13-pound dog with very cat-like behaviors, and she is exceptionally smart. When Ms. Bugsley first came to Erin, she was downtrodden and defeated, unable to move. The two became inseparable once she found her home in Erin's lap.
We have been incredibly impressed with Ms. Bugsley's growth and recovery; she has become the happiest dog we have ever encountered. People often ask what kind of dog she is wherever we go because of her unique appearance. Her fur is a blend of burnt and raw sienna, which inspired her official name, "Sienna." Despite being over 14 years old, she still has soft puppy-like fur and a permanent grin that brightens the day of everyone who sees her. We've witnessed our love transform Ms. Bugsley into a dog so joyful that she can’t help but share her happiness with the world. She understands English and will either sneeze or hop for joy to express her agreement when we try to understand what she wants. Rehabilitating Ms. Bugsley is what Erin feels most proud of today. Erin saved Bugsley, and in turn, Bugsley saved Erin. Neither would be the extraordinary creatures they are today without each other.
Our Individual Strengths

Glen is stable, calming, and patient. He shares this energy readily and can help, especially during times of stress, ground a person so that they can think about what is important to them rather than react to what they feel. He is enthusiastic about self-improvement. He believes that wherever a person is, whatever day it is, it is always a good day to do better. That isn't easy, but every path starts with the first step.
Erin is enthusiastic, excited, and drives excellence. We always know she is in a good mood if she is singing. She makes up funny songs about anything and everything, but cats are the most common. Spreading the joy of the songs is contagious and a great way to feel good even when life seems hard. She is a fantastic advocate who can recognize limitations but still push to stretch for more. No one knows what they can do if they are unwilling to reach, and she will be among the first to see something that seems hard and still inspires the spirit to try.
Erin is from Massachusetts, and Glen is from San Diego. Massachusetts has four distinct seasons, while San Diego is mild year-round. Naturally, these match our personalities. We grew up in two different environments - two of the most distant locations in the country. This distance is an example of our differences and how they make us stronger and better people for one another.

Our Extended Families

Erin's mom is very artistic and loves crafts. She is excited to play with and spoil her first grandchild. She has three dogs and enjoys walking them in nature. We visit her in Boston every year and plan to make more visits as our family grows. Over the past several years, we've experienced a massive snowstorm each time we visit Boston, leading to a family joke that Glen brings the blizzard.

On the other hand, Glen's dad and extended family live in California. Every visit there feels like a beach vacation. Glen's family is very supportive of us and our decision to adopt. Glen has one brother, and the family has a tradition of reuniting at his aunt's large house in the California hills, which overlooks the Central Valley, just outside the California Bay Area.
During our most recent visit to Glen's hometown, the main street was blocked off for music stages, food trucks, and various festivities. Glen's family home in the hills is the perfect spot to watch fireworks, as we can see for miles across the valley, allowing us to enjoy several different fireworks shows at the time same time. The neighbors were very welcoming, and many young children visit to enjoy the spectacle.
Our House and Neighborhood

Our home is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass and a balcony that directly overlooks the forest, trails, and river. We work from home with our desks arranged to overlook the view. We see crows and eagles fight and flock to the trees. It is a fantastic view to watch clouds roll in and a bright sunrise every morning.
When we go to the fifth floor, we enter an entertainment space that includes a gym, hot tub, large pool, grilling area, and picnic seating.
We have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so the infant will always have someone close, no matter where they go in our home. The format of our work makes it very easy to be flexible for a child in need of attention.
Our building community has many young families, and kids love the pool in the summer. Between the community pool, dog park, game room, and 24-hour staff, the child will have plenty of friends to grow with and keep them company.
We love going to local arts, music, entertainment, and sports events. Our community has something every weekend to keep us busy. From Us to You

Thank you for considering our profile. We appreciate the effort and time you are taking to look into your child's future and ensure they will be healthy and happy.
We have been married for four years and best friends for eleven. Throughout our time together, we have shared each other's highs and lows, and we know that our lives are better because we support one another in becoming our best selves. Glen is patient and caring, while Erin is passionate and driven. We balance and inspire one another and are very proud of the life we have created, supported by friends and family. We are both attorneys who work remotely from home and are excited to start this next phase in our lives, focusing on providing the best life possible for our future child.
We promise that ensuring your child's health and happiness is the single most important aspect of our upcoming lives. We promise to provide a safe and secure home and that your child will know they are loved unconditionally. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for growth that encourage curiosity and creativity. Whether it be through sports, arts, or academics, we promise to support and encourage your child as they explore their passions and discover who they are.
We recognize that adoption is a significant journey, and we are committed to being open and honest with your child about their adoption story. We want to create an atmosphere of trust and transparency, speaking about you with the utmost respect and love. Your role in their life is invaluable, and we would like to maintain a relationship with you if that is something you desire. We understand how important it is for your child to know their roots, and we want to honor that by keeping the lines of communication open.
We will document your child's milestones and development through a private social media account. This account (whether on Facebook, Instagram, etc.) will allow us to capture photos and videos, preserving their earliest memories, which you can access anytime. The album account will provide a convenient way for you to stay connected to your child's progress while maintaining communication with us. Although we are available via phone, text, or email, this platform will be another way to keep in touch.
We also want to express our deepest respect for your choices. We understand that the decision to choose adoption is one filled with heavy emotions and complex feelings. We honor your courage and the love you have for your child in making this choice. We want to reassure you that we are here to support you throughout this process. Our intention is to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in the decision you are making.
Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We hope our words and photos connect with you and provide insight into who we are and the kind of life your child could have with us.
Best,
Glen & Erin
